Latino Network

We are a Latino-led education organization, grounded in culturally-specific practices and services, that lifts up youth and families to reach their full potential. Our work springs from the core belief in Latino community self-determination—that is, the ability of community members to participate meaningfully in the decisions that affect their lives and the lives of their families.

New Hope Missionary Baptist Church

BlackPDX.com is a virtual community hub created to amplify the VOICES and MESSAGE of the black community in the greater Portland metro area, ultimately to improve economic conditions for black families. Oregon NW Black Pioneers

The Oregon Black Pioneers is an all volunteer nonprofit organization based in Salem, Oregon. It was founded in 1993 and incorporated in 1994 to do research and educate Oregonians about African-Americans’ contributions to Oregon’s history. Within the next few years, the organization developed a small resource booklet and study guide on Oregon’s black history and distributed it through the Salem-Keizer School District and Marion County Historical Society.

Oregon Humanities

Oregon Humanities is committed to bringing people together across difference. Each year, Oregon Humanities offers hundreds of public conversations and programs across the state, trains and supports dozens of discussion leaders, and awards tens of thousands of dollars in grants to organizations that, like us, believe in the power of people in rooms listening, learning, and struggling together.

Oregon Justice Resource Center

The Oregon Justice Resource Center was founded in 2011 by Bobbin Singh and Erin McKee. Our goal is to promote civil rights and improve legal representation for communities that have often been underserved in the past: people living in poverty and people of color among them. We work in collaboration with other, like-minded, organizations to maximize our reach to serve underrepresented populations, to train future public interest lawyers, and to educate our community on issues related to civil rights and civil liberties.

League of Minority Voters

The League of Minority Voters was founded in 2007 by a multi-racial group of Oregonians who believe that what affects one community affects all of us, and that the challenges that impact minority voters must be met with consistent advocacy from all people of conscience.
