REAP is a year around multicultural youth leadership program committed to empowering the next wave of leaders. REAP works with students in grades 3rd through 12th, who represent our most at-risk student population.
The Portland African American Leadership Forum helps our Black community imagine the alternatives we deserve and build our civic participation and leadership to achieve those alternatives.

As directed by Oregon voters in 1984, the Oregon Citizens’ Utility Board (CUB) represents the interests of Oregon’s residential utility customers before administrative, judicial, and legislative bodies. CUB works at the intersection of utility policy and regulation to develop innovative solutions, empower consumers, and engage stakeholders around utility issues that affect Oregonians.

We leverage our leadership, commitment and influence towards reducing the imbalances that exist today in an industry that is shaping the future of humanity.

Led by people of color, immigrants and refugees, rural communities, and people experiencing poverty, Unite Oregon works across Oregon to build a unified intercultural movement for justice.
Unite Oregon represents the merger of two strong organizations – Center for Intercultural Organizing (CIO) and Oregon Action (OA) – who together have decades of experience organizing immigrants, refugees, people of color, and low-income Oregonians to address racial and economic disparities and improve quality of life in our state.

Girls Inc. opens opportunities to girls today while making our society more equitable for all girls. With Girls Inc., girls grow up healthy, educated, and independent. They break the cycle of poverty and lead change in their communities.

In 1993, Friends of the Children opened its doors with three friends serving 24 children. Today, Friends of the Children – Portland has 50 Friends guiding, supporting and mentoring almost 500 children across the Portland/Vancouver metropolitan area. Our mission is to provide our most vulnerable children a nurturing and sustained relationship with a professional mentor who teaches positive values and has attainable expectations for each child to become a healthy, productive member of the community.
